Appointments and fees
Consultations are by appointment with the usual appointment time being 10 to 15 minutes. However, you can request a longer appointment time when you make your booking. We do not wish to rush you in the consultation or keep other people waiting. You can request to see a particular doctor. You can also request a male or female doctor when you are making your appointment. Please try and arrive on time for appointments. If you can't keep a scheduled appointment please contact us as soon as possible. Your doctor will appreciate your courtesy as will other patients. Urgent problems requiring immediate medical care will be attended to without an appointment. We always appreciate your patience if there are lengthy waiting times. All of our doctors try to stay on time but the most common reason for delays are people being treated for urgent medical problems. |
| If you are a new patient to the University Medical Centre, we would greatly apprieciate it if you could download, print, and complete the New Patient Registration form before arriving for your appointment. |
