Emergency Contacts

The UWA Counselling and Psychology Service is open during office hours on normal University working days.

We do not have an emergency counselling service, however, we will endeavour to speak to you within 24 hours of your initial contact should you feel your situation is urgent. If you are unable to wait we have a list of emergency contact numbers available. All of these are 24 hours services.

If you or someone you know is in crisis outside of office hours contact one of the following agencies:

Critical Incidents

The Service has special expertise in the area of Critical Incident Response.  It is important that any event such as an episode of violence, fire or explosion, flood, severe storm, bomb threat, suicide or threat of harm to self or others is dealt with in an appropriate manner which facilitates recovery of those affected.  In the case of a critical incident, contact UWA Security on extension 2222 who will co-ordinate an emergency response.
