Quality of Care Policies

At UWA Child Care, we aim to provide the highest quality of care for all children and families. To ensure that this happens we have policies that cover all aspects of professional care, in accordance with Regulation 76 of the Children and Community Services (Early Childhood Care) Regulations 2006. These include:

    • Grouping of Children
    • Dropping off and collecting children
    • Sleep time policy
    • Clothing/Sun protection
    • Children with special needs
  • Health and Safety
    • Illness and Injury
    • Medication
  • Emergency and Evacuation procedures
  • Behaviour Management
  • Parent involvement, Communication and concerns
  • Storing Records
  • Supervising Officer and Person to act in place of person.
  • Access to the Centre
As an accredited Child Care Centre we also offer:
  • Developmental Programmes for each child
  • Nutritional Meals
  • Qualified and experienced staff
  • Parent visits and an Orientation Program
  • Multicultural experiences and celebrations
  • Excursions and Outings.
