Courses at UWA UWA offers relevant, practical, up-to-date and internationally recognised courses ranging from bachelor's degree level through to higher degrees by research across a broad range of traditional and new disciplines. Search the courses database by keyword, course type or faculty to find the courses of most relevance to your organisation Important UWA dates The University academic year is divided into 2 semesters with classes being conducted between March & June and then from July to November. Guide to UWA grades Assessment of students' academic progress is made each semester and results awarded according to a 5 point grading scale based on a range of percentage scores: - HD (High distinction) 80 - 100%
- D (Distinction) 70 - 79%
- CR (Credit) 60 - 69%
- P (Pass) 50 - 59%
- N+ (Fail) 45 - 49%
- N (Fail) 0 - 44%

Students' academic transcripts will also show a percentage based Weighted Average Mark which represents achievement across the duration of the course of study.
