Recognised as one of the best universities in the country, the University of Western Australia attracts high calibre undergraduate and postgraduate students from Australia and overseas.   UWA graduates have consistently been the best in gaining full-time employment when compared to graduates from other WA universities and they have matched or exceeded national graduate employment rates. In 2008, there were 19,520 students enrolled in a wide variety of courses.  Being the university of choice for many international applicants, UWA has a strong population of Asian students who are keen to secure employment when returning to their home countries.

The UWA Careers Centre offers a range of services to employers to assist them to recruit high quality UWA students and promote their organisations on campus:

• On-line Advertising of Job Vacancies
• Direct Mail-outs to Groups of Students
• On-campus Recruitment Presentations
• Other Services - interview facilities, video conferencing, application processing
• Offer an Internship or Scholarship
• Mentor a Student
