Student Services provides a range of services to
help students succeed at university. Most services are free and
appointments can be booked by phone or in person.
The Housing Officer can assist with,
and advise on, all aspects of housing, including boarding, shared
accommodation and vacant property listings in the University
area.
The Student Financial Aid Officer can
assist you with information and advice concerning Centrelink
benefits, budgeting and the types of financial assistance which
may be available to you, including UWA student loans.
Student Services has several counsellors who can help with any concerns that
may be impacting on your ability to enjoy uni life and reach your
full academic potential. This service is confidential. You can
also access a wide range of books from the Counselling Resources
Library.
The University Medical Centre offers
a full range of general practice and nursing services to students
and staff of the University. Medical services provided to local
students are direct billed to Medicare.
Check out the University's child care
services, including the long day care centre at 7 Monash
Avenue and the Afterschool Care and Vacation Care Centre at 18
Parkway.
There are many different religious
groups on campus. Information and contact details for each
group can be found via this website.
